Did you know, that in most situations, the weather radio is faster in alerting you to potential weather hazards than your town's sirens are? Generally, the lead time between the WX (weather) alert and your town's sirens is as much as 10 minutes? Sometimes, they're quick, and the time difference is usually 3-4 minutes, but it's still slow if you have a tornado baring down on your position... I know from experience, that those 3-4 minutes are simply too slow!

I've been using a weather radio equipped with S.A.M.E. technology, and it hasn't failed me yet! The S.A.M.E. technology singles out my county of which I live in, and alerts me to potential weather hazards in my county alone, instead of neighboring counties, which could very well be away from my residence, and therefore, not concerning me.

If you go to your local electronics stores, you should find a basic weather radio, and it must be equipped with S.A.M.E. technology, or it'll go off to things happening out of your area.

So, now that we've got 2009 all dead and buried, I say we drink ourselves and rejoice to the fact that we've made it to the end of the decade, and made it out of 2009 at that!

Ahhhhhh, it's quite nice to be in the new year. I shall embrace this new year like my own blessed child! EMBRACE IT.


Oh, how I've longed to be out of this monotony! Drudging day in and day out, day, after boring day, after boring day... It was just unbearable!

things going on in my life atm.

school is about to start, JAN/19/2010, I'm working 40 hours a week, with an optional job in between, plus, I'm looking for a seasonal job with Radio Shack. It's cold and snowy outside, so it sucks. money money money is going down the school's vacuum. :'D



So, yea.

No art for a while.
When I finally get myself into one of my shirts that I can model with, I'll post the pictures up and start selling.
